“迺廬”，迺，“乃”字的繁體字，為罕見(jiàn)姓氏。聽(tīng)聞別墅主人的先祖年輕時(shí)為了養(yǎng)家糊口漂洋過(guò)海到舊金山工作，后來(lái)老有所成一心回國(guó)發(fā)展，繼而選擇在這里安居樂(lè)業(yè)。然而別墅的主人從小對(duì)藝術(shù)就有著濃厚的興趣，在當(dāng)初挑選眾多競(jìng)標(biāo)入駐品牌公司的時(shí)候，發(fā)現(xiàn)了DPD設(shè)計(jì)，仿如千里馬遇到伯樂(lè)一樣，也因這樣，DPD設(shè)計(jì)咨詢(xún)公司辦公室新址就誕生了。它雖然立于東山口群樓別墅之中，卻盡享環(huán)境之優(yōu)異，于鬧市中一片寧?kù)o。不參與外界的紛紛擾擾，只想用設(shè)計(jì)和藝術(shù)創(chuàng)造出屬于自己的特色。東山口向來(lái)是廣州權(quán)勢(shì)實(shí)力人士的的世居地，出入東山多是官家子弟。花園式洋房與現(xiàn)代高樓，現(xiàn)代與傳統(tǒng)，各分東西，相輔相成，是支撐著整個(gè)三十年代廣州商業(yè)社會(huì)的兩大縮影。走過(guò)一條條有著經(jīng)過(guò)時(shí)代沖洗過(guò)的西式別墅，安靜整潔的街道，轉(zhuǎn)角就能看到了一棟白灰結(jié)合的別墅，在歐式的外形建筑風(fēng)格包裹下，你未必能猜到里面是一片怎樣的天地。

Nai, the last name of the villa owner, is rarely seen in China. Word has it that the ancestor of the owner went all the way to San Francisco to search for fortune when he was young. In older age he had achieved what he dreamt of and decided to go back to China. He then settled down in this villa and developed his career and family. The owner had great interest in art since childhood, so when he met DPD in all the competing companies he felt like he finally found the lost glass slipper. Therefore, DPD Consultant started its journey here, surrounded by all kinds of villas in Dongshankou, yet keeps its inner peace in the busy noisy world. It only focuses on creating its own corner of design and art, regardless of the changes outside. Dongshankou is traditionally the residential area for rich and powerful people in Guangzhou. Little houses with gardens and tall buildings, tradition and modern times co-exist harmoniously together here, reflecting the commercial society of Guangzhou in 1930s. When you stroll down the quiet street of western style old villas, you will meet a little black-and-gray one. It has the surface of a European architecture, but you will not possibly know what it looks like inside.

說(shuō)起辦公室，普遍都是給人一種專(zhuān)業(yè)，嚴(yán)肅，規(guī)整的感覺(jué)。但我不這樣認(rèn)為，我覺(jué)得它也可以變得舒適，充滿(mǎn)獨(dú)特的設(shè)計(jì)和時(shí)尚元素。或許，當(dāng)你遇到一個(gè)讓你喜歡的辦公環(huán)境時(shí)，你不單單是在專(zhuān)心工作，還會(huì)享受于自身的環(huán)境里工作。

We’re just tired of the boring working environment. Sometimes a little bit change will make a whole lot of difference. People usually think office is neat, professional and serious. However, I think office can be comfortable, unique and fashionable.  Maybe when you’re in an office you really like, you don’t only work but also enjoy the environment surrounds you.

如今，我們的生活處處離不開(kāi)設(shè)計(jì)，設(shè)計(jì)在不知不覺(jué)中已然成為最真實(shí)的生活寫(xiě)照以及特定時(shí)期內(nèi)人類(lèi)種種需求的綜合體現(xiàn)。離開(kāi)繁忙多人的環(huán)境，讓自己處于一片干凈舒服的工作環(huán)境中發(fā)揮天馬行空。據(jù)了解，DPD主持設(shè)計(jì)師Michael.LIN在當(dāng)初對(duì)辦公室的設(shè)計(jì)構(gòu)思上，是旨在打造出一個(gè)舒適的生活工作空間。簡(jiǎn)單的白色墻體其他灰白色的色澤搭配，空間的立體效果和象征簡(jiǎn)約自由的風(fēng)格被詮釋的淋漓盡致。在部分材料上采用原木材質(zhì)的門(mén)板和簡(jiǎn)約風(fēng)的家具選用使得室內(nèi)的裝飾貼切自然，配合一些簡(jiǎn)約具有設(shè)計(jì)感的擺飾，還有猩猩、大象、野豬和DPD的兩只小王子，給安靜舒服的環(huán)境中增加了不少生氣，頓時(shí)整個(gè)氛圍變得不一樣。

Nowadays, design is everywhere. It’s gradually becoming a necessary in every aspect of life. When you get away from the crowded society, you will want to work in a clean comfortable working environment. When Michael Lin, the main designer of DPD, first started to design this office, he wanted to create a comfortable space for work as well as living. White walls go along perfectly with gray and other natural colors. He successfully displayed a space of freedom and simplicity. Simple wood doors and furniture make the office closer to nature. Some special decorations like gorillas, elephants, boars, together with two cute cat princes totally bring the office to life.

二樓的露天陽(yáng)臺(tái)是一個(gè)方便大家休息，閑來(lái)小聚一下的地方，DPD的另一位負(fù)責(zé)人Seven.Mok說(shuō)過(guò)，這是整棟別墅中最受歡迎的地方之一。平時(shí)大家都喜歡帶上一杯茶飲圍坐在這里，呼吸著新鮮的空氣，高談?wù)撻煟挥袝r(shí)候會(huì)嘻嘻鬧鬧分享著自己的生活點(diǎn)滴，有時(shí)候會(huì)在這互相討論項(xiàng)目上自己的構(gòu)思想法。來(lái)公司見(jiàn)面的客人很多也都喜歡在這里坐著休息或者看看周邊風(fēng)景。沿著樓梯往上走，溫暖的陽(yáng)光照射進(jìn)來(lái)讓人覺(jué)得很愜意。你會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)發(fā)現(xiàn)這里每一個(gè)角落都很有趣，仿佛隨便找一個(gè)地方都是可以讓你有不同感覺(jué)。樓梯是采用柚木板搭鋪，讓人有一種貼近大自然的感覺(jué)，而這也是對(duì)木材情有獨(dú)鐘的一個(gè)原因之一。

The open balcony on the second floor is for people to rest and party. Another founder of DPD, Seven Mok said it is the most popular place in this villa. People like to come here to drink tea, get fresh air and chat about daily life or new project ideas. Many clients also like to have a rest here and enjoy the sceneries around. Following the sunshine upstairs, you will find that every corner of the office has its own charm and will give you different feelings. The stairs are made of teak which will bring you closer to nature. This is one of the reasons why we prefer wood than other materials.

為了塑造更加休閑舒適的辦公環(huán)境，辦公環(huán)境的家具都是以簡(jiǎn)約的黑白為主，在辦公區(qū)還特意空出一角，搭配舒適的Grado品牌貝殼椅，以及便利的多用途沙發(fā)，可以讓員工不受外界的干擾而專(zhuān)注于思考或者一起展開(kāi)討論，工作效率也會(huì)隨之而提高。連設(shè)計(jì)師Michael本人都會(huì)喜歡坐在這里安靜的看一個(gè)下午的書(shū)。對(duì)傳統(tǒng)室內(nèi)空間的定義應(yīng)該由單純的內(nèi)部空間轉(zhuǎn)變?yōu)槭覂?nèi)和室外空間之間的緊密接連，這種轉(zhuǎn)變打破了私人和公共空間之間的界限。空間的布局可以影響很多東西，從合理人性化到施工落地所需。項(xiàng)目的完成從空間的布局，材料的挑選，到最后施工落地，每一個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)都緊緊相扣，設(shè)計(jì)項(xiàng)目成品，就像打磨一塊上等玉石一樣，經(jīng)過(guò)時(shí)間和制作者日以繼夜的用心開(kāi)拓，才成讓它變得發(fā)光發(fā)亮。在項(xiàng)目完成后的蛻皮都是漫長(zhǎng)和耐心。

In order to make the office more casual and comfortable, all the furniture are basically black and white. We also saved a corner for discussion, in which we put Grado shell chairs and multipurpose sofas. Even Michael himself enjoys reading in this corner. The definition of space is not limited to indoor anymore. It’s more about the connection between indoor and outdoor space, which breaks down the barrier between personal and public areas. In order to achieve this, we started from design, to material choosing, to construction, to the final masterpiece. Countless time and hard work was devoted to it. We treat it like polishing a high quality jade. Only with patience can we make it smooth and shiny.
